Andrea M. Miller-Curling has taught Music, History, English Language & Literature in a number of public and private schools for several years. Then in 1992, she joined the faculty of The College of The Bahamas (COB), serving as an English Language Lecturer and a Language Resource Centre Coordinator in the Humanities Division/School of English Studies, and later as a Planning/Development Officer in the Office of the Vice President of Research, Planning & Development.

Among her many awards for outstanding service to education and the community are the COB Outstanding Performance & Exemplary Service Award, the Evangelistic Temple Faithful Service Award and the Assemblies of God in The Bahamas Faithful Service Award.

 
Married to Llewelyn R.V. Curling, Ph.D., a COB professor, she enjoys reading, voice-overs for radio/TV, editing consultancy, singing and playing the piano. Possessed with an inner strength, a quiet dignity and an unrelenting faith in God, she is an educator par excellence, who is dedicated to serving God and the people of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
