In September of 1978 Rev. Dr. Vaughan L. Cash received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. This spiritual decision would prove to be life changing in every way. He received the call to the Gospel Ministry in 1980 and in obedience to this Divine call he enrolled in Daystar Bible College in September of 1980 to begin his formal training for the ministry.
In 1983 he was appointed as Assistant Pastor at Calvary Bible Church in Freeport, Grand Bahama. In June of 1985 Dr. Cash pioneered a new Church which was called Grand Bahama Christian Center and served as its founding Pastor until June of 1989 when he and his family relocated to the city of Nassau. Upon his return to Nassau he ministered as an Evangelist and later as a Religious Studies Teacher at Kingsway Academy.
In August of 1995 he was invited by Rev. Dr. Gary V. Curry, Senior Pastor of Evangelistic Temple, to join the Pastoral staff of the Church in the capacity of Senior Associate Pastor. Dr. Cash served Evangelistic Temple in this position for sixteen years and on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 he was elected by the membership as Senior Pastor-Elect.
Dr. Cash was ordained to the Gospel Ministry by the Bahamas Evangelical Church Association on March 1st, 1987 and also by the Assemblies of God in the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands on May 20th, 1999. He is a graduate of Daystar Bible College where he obtained a Diploma in Biblical Studies, and also a graduate of Christian Life School of Theology where he obtained his Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theology, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Ministry degrees.
Dr. Cash and his wife Wendy have been married for 29 years and are the parents of three children, Abigail, Atalia, and Vaughan.
