Disciplinary Guidelines

The goal of the discipline policy at TCHS is to provide a structured climate, which is safe and orderly, so that students can learn at optimum levels and achieve their academic goals.  The discipline policy is designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop self-control, self direction, self-understanding, self-worth and successful interpersonal skills.  The policy is clearly communicated and consistently enforced.  Hence, this school reserves the right to discipline any disruptive student, as it deems necessary.  This includes assigning demerits and detentions, counseling, the use of the strap/paddle (by the Principal, Vice Principal or Dean of Students), suspension or expulsion.
