Graduation Requirements
It must be emphasized that graduation is not an automatic procedure at TCHS. To receive a high school Diploma the following requirements must be met:
- Satisfactory completion of grade 12; must not fail more than 3 subjects
- Maintain acceptable behaviors and attitudes
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (for Grades 10-12)
- Regular attendance (no more than 10 days absent in the final year) and punctuality (no more than 5 times late in the final year)
- Sit a minimum of five (5) BGCSE exams including Math and English
- Write both PSAT and SAT exams
- Submission of assignments, projects and coursework
- Have no outstanding bills
A female student who has met all graduation requirements, but is found to be pregnant prior to the graduation ceremony, will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony – but will be awarded a diploma.
