Extra-Curricular Activities

Becoming a well-rounded individual has long been recognized at Temple Christian High as an important part of the equation for success in today’s globalized environment. To ensure the personal development of our students, a variety of extra-curricular activities are provided through its clubs and sporting teams.

Temple Christian High’s Key Club was formed in 2001, two years after the school was established on its Shirley Street campus. Today it is one of the largest and most active clubs in the school. Other clubs and organizations include:

  • a vibrant Red Cross group
  • a dedicated Student Christian Movement (SCM)
  • an active and challenging Governor General’s Youth Awards (GGYA) organization; and
  • a lively Girls Guide group

We also produce an annual Christmas musical in December, and the elaborate cast is comprised of students from grades seven to twelve.

Sports Teams

Our sporting teams at both the junior and senior high levels participate in the following:

  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Track and Field and
  • Softball

We encourage all of our students to take full advantage of the opportunities afforded them by becoming active members of our clubs and sporting teams.
