In September of 1978 Rev. Dr. Vaughan L. Cash received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. This spiritual decision would prove to be life changing in every way. He received the call to the Gospel Ministry in 1980 and in obedience to this Divine call he enrolled in Daystar Bible College in September of 1980 to begin his formal training for the ministry.
In 1983 he was appointed as Assistant Pastor at Calvary Bible Church in Freeport, Grand Bahama. In June of 1985 Dr. Cash pioneered a new Church which was called Grand Bahama Christian Center and served as its founding Pastor until June of 1989 when he and his family relocated to the city of Nassau. Upon his return he ministered as an Evangelist and later as a Religious Studies Teacher at Kingsway Academy.
Reverend Dave Cash is the youngest of six children, and the third son born to Lorna Knowles and the late Joseph Cash. He received his early education at the William Phipps Primary School and later attended The Government High School from 1973 to 1978. He grew up attending Calvary Bible Church, and accepted Christ as his Savior on July 13th, 1980.
After graduating from high school, he worked for a short time at The Central Bank of The Bahamas, before moving on to the Civil Aviation Department, where he worked as an Air Traffic Controller for seven years.
Michael Davis is a System/Software Engineer and Network Regulatory Administrator (retired) in the field of telecommunications for forty plus years at The Bahamas Telecommunications Company Ltd. (BTC).
An abbreviated synopsis of his body of work is as follows:-
Mr. Davis pioneered and/or spearheaded a cadre of national and international telecommunications initiatives, namely, as The Bahamas’ first Code Administrator procured its first national Area Code, 242, Pioneered the publication of the National Dialing Plan, The Bahamas Code Routing Guide and as BTC representative on the Number Portabilility National Steering Committee, assisted with the deployment and commissioning of a large variety of revolutionary network systems including the 4G/LTE Cellular and the International Gateway Platforms.
Pastor Bradick A. Cleare serves as Associate Pastor with responsibilities for management and administration at the historic Evangelistic Temple in Nassau Bahamas. Pastor Cleare is a graduate of the College of the Bahamas and a professional manager who has held middle and senior managerial positions over the last 15 years in small, medium and large organizations. He served as Chairman of the Oakes Field Primary (Eva Hilton) school board for 6 years and in other civic capacities.
Reverend Keno S. Smith is a graduate of St. Augustine’s College and entered the workforce immediately after graduation. Over the years he has amassed various Information Technology certifications, inclusive of the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer credential. Reverend Smith’s expertise has allowed him to work in various industries including technology training, restaurants, hotel, and banking. Reverend Smith started serving in youth ministry about 14 years ago while attending Bahamas Harvest Church. On May 1 st, 2014 he left his career as an Information Technology Professional to officially begin full-time ministry, taking on his current role as Youth Pastor at Evangelistic Temple.
Mrs. Anne Smith earned her graduate degree in Human Resource Management and undergraduate degree in Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University. She also attained her certifications in Human Resources Management from Columbia Southern University and Professional in Human Resource Management from Human Resources Institute (HRCI); she was also awarded the FLMI designation from the Life Office Management Association Inc.
Cheryl Martins is an insurance professional who currently holds a management position in the Group & Health Benefits Department of Colina Insurance Limited.
She has founded and directed the preschool, Wellspring Academy, which provided care and training for children in the age range of 1 to 5 years in the Fox Hill community for about 18 years
