Temple Christian School announces Acting Dean of StudentsThe Temple Christian School community is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Dr. Ellis Peet, who faithfully served as our Dean of Students. Dr. Peet’s unwavering commitment, compassion, and leadership touched the lives of countless students, faculty, and staff. During this time of transition, we have taken thoughtful steps to ensure the continued support of our student body and the advancement of our school values. Accordingly, Temple Christian School, its Chairman, and Board of Directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jestin Taylor as Acting Dean of Students at our high school campus, effective immediately.Mr. Taylor possesses a wealth of classroom experience and a passion for fostering a Bible-based, supportive, and dynamic campus environment. Temple Christian School Resumption Notice, Grades 3-12Dear Temple Christian School Community,Temple Christian School is pleased to inform regular classes will resume as follows:1) Elementary school campus: Grade 3-Grade 6: Tuesday, September 30, 2025K3-Grade 2: Wednesday, October 1, 2025Our K3 through Grade 2 remains closed and will reopen on Wednesday due to challenges staff are experiencing in getting to work. It is expected that elementary school staff who are able to safely attend school do so.2) High school campus: Tuesday, September 30, 2025All high school students are expected to attend school as usual, and all staff are to report to their respective duties. Cafeteria service will operate according to the normal schedule.
