Miss. Dominique Thompson is a veteran educator with the Ministry of Education. She has taught for 23 years and is presently employed as a Mathematics teacher, who has been promoted as senior mistress over the last promotion exercise. Miss Thompson graduated from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida with a Master of Business Administration Degree. She also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Sojourner Douglass College, Baltimore Maryland and a Diploma in Education from The College of The Bahamas (renamed as The University of the of The Bahamas ) Nassau, Bahamas.
Miss Thompson has taught in Eleuthera and New Providence where she has contributed to the educational system in varies capacities, serving as Subject Coordinator for the Mathematics department, committee member for the newly revised Primary School Mathematics syllabus and curriculum, B.J.C and B.G.C.S.E Mathematics marker and recorder, Trained and certified Mentor for new and current teachers and adviser for The Students Mentorship club. She has also served as a substitute Mathematics teacher for the Technical Cadet Corps and as an Adjunct professor in the school of Business Administration for Sojourner Douglass College and Omega College, Nassau Campuses. Currently she is a part time Mathematics teacher for the Public Service Upgrading Course.
