Dear members of the Temple Christian School community,

In accordance with changes made to the Emergency Orders for the islands of New Providence and Abaco declared this morning in parliament by the Most Honorable Prime Minister, our school wishes to advise the school community of the following, which becomes effective on Tuesday, October 13, 2020:

1. Face-to-face instruction is not permitted after this coming Friday. Therefore, instruction will proceed virtually from Tuesday, October 13, 2020 until further notice;
2. Teachers will be permitted to work from home until further notice;
3. Where possible, a shift system for non-teaching staff that are able to work from home may be implemented.

Please note that our school and business offices remain open, with observance of the standard health and safety protocols for sanitization and social distancing established by the government. However, when and where possible, we encourage parents to continue to communicate with the school via phone, email, or Teams at this time in order to reduce the physical presence of individuals on the campuses.

Our prayer is that we will all do our part to help mitigate the spread of this virus throughout our communities, and that you will continue to remain safe as we continue to provide virtual instruction to the students of our school.
