Notice of TCS operations - Easter 4/9/2020

Dear members of the Temple Christian School community,

As we embark upon Easter break, I wish to take this opportunity to extend best wishes to all families of Temple Christian School. Despite the trying circumstances which we currently face, I pray that you will find time to reflect on the importance of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and what that means for us as Christians.

Please note that Temple Christian School will be closed for Easter break from April 9 -17, 2020. During this time, no online instruction will occur. It is a break for both teachers and students alike. Online instruction will resume, God-willing, on Monday, April 20, 2020.

Further to this, it appears that online instruction will remain our primary mode of instruction for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a definitive timeline in this regard, as we are subject to the Orders of the relevant national authorities. On behalf of our School Board Chairman, Rev. Dr. Vaughan L. Cash and the Board of Directors of Temple Christian School, I take this opportunity to thank our teachers who, on short notice, have risen to the occasion to provide continued instruction to our students. We appreciate your dedication, commitment, and hard work. I would also like to thank the many parents who have partnered with us in this unique educational environment. Thank you for your support and patience as we continue to refine the online educational process at Temple Christian School.

With best regards,

Samuel L. Rutherford, Ed. D.
