Temple Christian School is pleased to announce that Mrs. Gina Ferguson has been selected to serve as our new Pre-School Vice-Principal, effective Monday, October 3, 2016.

Gina is an experienced Christian school educator, who has more than 8 years of school ministry and teaching experience, and more than 20 years of combined experience serving in church ministry roles. She most recently served as a grade 5 teacher at Temple Christian Elementary School. She attended Pensacola Christian College for her undergraduate degree and will soon pursue a master’s degree in educational leadership from an accredited university.

Two of Gina’s notable achievements as a teacher at Temple Christian Elementary are her record of successfully leading the elementary staff praise team and the Drama Club. A former teacher of the Year and Grade Level Leader at Kingsway Academy, Gina has also served in church ministry as Sunday school teacher, pianist, soloist, youth and children’s choir director, Vacation Bible School coordinator, and senior choir member.

She says: "I want to mentor students physically, emotionally, mentally, socially and spiritually in an institution that seeks to instill sound Biblical principles in their students through traditional education. I look forward to doing my part to assist in this continuous effort and work diligently to enhance this institution as we seek to teach students in the way of the Lord." We are excited to see how our terrific teachers play that role already and learn how she might help us to increase our efforts in these areas!

The Fergusons have four daughters all of whom attend Temple Christian School. The eldest, a senior and a prefect, will graduate with the Temple Christian High School Class of 2017.

We are eager to draw from Gina’s comprehensive background in Christian education to improve our service to students, parents, teachers, and the entire Temple Christian School community.
