De’Antez Knowles wins National Award for Best BJC Results

Temple Christian's De'Antez Knowles was 1 of 5 students from independent schools recognized at the Ministry of  Education, Science & Technologies' Annual National Awards Presentation for obtaining the Best BJC Results in the  Commonwealth of the Bahamas - 7 As. He is also 1 of 6 Temple Christian High Schools students recognized for

outstanding performance in the 2013-2014 BJC examinations. Knowles is involved in GGYA and is a member of the  track and field team. “My passion is to eventually help my country solve its problems. I don’t want to be the boss of this country, but to be a true leader,” said Knowles. He is scheduled to graduate in June 2017. His professional

goals include becoming an engineer and establishing his own company in order to employ local workers.
